Ponies

Our ponies remain on the farm for most of the summer. Once a week, we organise guided pony rides with our mares Lucy and Blacky (from May to October).

This is always a hugely popular activity with the children.

Martina demonstrates how to clean and groom the ponies, how to scrape their hooves, how to saddle them and how to muck out their stable. You are always welcome to help out and do some small jobs on your own.

Please note the maximum load a pony can carry is 45 kg. Older children can walk the ponies.
